One Thousand Whispers

What if I wrote you something almost every day? Poems and stories for the age.

Seven Devils

In a past life
I was a dancer.
My soul knows this.
En pointe,
soaring,
Grand Jeté
obsession,
Arabesque,
pain,
Pas de chat,
release.

Sometimes
when no one
is watching
I allow the past
to channel some
long forgotten
electricity
finding its way
through ancient memory
and this
wrong shaped body
finds the choreography
and flies.
